So anyway, I might be jumping the gun. But I want to rank the series from this year so far. I will add Shadow Eliminators as well due to it technically being a 2024 title when it was coming from the transition of 2023. With that said, here is my rank.
1) Ichi the Witch: Still to new but solid first impression. Love the characters, very interesting world building, and more excited to see the beginning of the first major arc.
2) Shinobi Undercover: Again, new, but solid humor and characters that I want to follow. I hope it isn’t dead on arrival, and I want it to continue.
3) Super Psychic Policeman Chojo: My first favorite gag series in the magazine as of now. Despite some non fans here, which I don’t understand. But in all honesty me and echo are the only ones that understand its humor and talent. I would say that I would like for it to pace itself when introducing more characters and do some more focus on the other side characters (to ease our focus on Chojo and the rest of the police team). Also #MoreChinRangers.
4) Hima-Ten!: I am still a fan and enjoy the characters. Though the one thing I want now is a little more surprises, cause I would like some excitement again. But seeing what happened in this chapter ending, I hope it brings it back.
Slight Gap
5) Astro Royale: It is getting me back, but I still have problems with its focus and how I feel that Wakui is trying to get my attention with some creative tricks that feels like they don’t make sense narratively so that it looks cool. I know he tries hard, but I just felt that first impression didn’t help him.
6) HakuTaku: I would place this higher above AR, but it is still new. I want this to be higher cause I do like the humor and characters. It just feels a bit disjointed in the writing.
7) Ultimate Exorcist Kiyoshi: I still find it funny along with the good characters and art style. But my small gripe is that exam arc as it is formulaic and getting boring now. I just wish this arc would end so we can move somewhere else. But that is the second part, but I still like the first. And the exam arc does have elements I like such as Cook the Exor
8) Psych House: Was very surprised how much I liked this. But I would say that the characters are likable and had an interesting premise. But I feel that it was a bit slow. If it hadn’t had that controversy, it might have survived. But overall a good short story to read, and I hope this writer returns.
Really Big Gap
9) Shadow Eliminators: The problem with this series was its lack of focus and how generic it is. I saw Shonen Flop talk about it and says that it copies what others have done. But with that said, it’s still has good humor and characters.
10) Kyokuto Necromance: Naba needs to have a change up in their formula. This has improvements in the art, but the story lacks personality compared to Shadow Eliminators. It is hard to say anything when I didn’t care anymore.
11) Dear Anemone: This story’s problem is that it is so bland and made so many rookie mistakes when it should have had more side characters and then retconned it so that the characters that died are alive. And you can tell this author knew they messed up and knew it was a failure to the point they botched their Twitter account and deleted this series to oblivion. They focused to much on the art (which I praise that it is really good), which took to much time compared to the story writing. Also I said it was bland, now compared to Necromance, it did have some humor and good character moments as possible. But here I lost total interest and it just got worse. So please Rin Matsui, if you are reading this please do Black Milk. I know you can do good characters, just do that one cause it has personality.
12) Yokai Buster Murakami: If this writer said they were holding back in Shugomaru, then I doubt that they were as this is just unfunny all together. It was so disappointing that I dropped it at chapter 2. And I rarely do that as it shows how much I really don’t like this series. It shows how much they lack variety in their humor.
And that is my ranking so far.

Akane Banashi deserves a Netflix anime done by OLM, but I think it will go to Crunchyroll.
Kagurabachi is 120% going to Netflix.
I would believe that as they want more “mainstream” series in their library. And it is proof that Sakamoto Days fits that since it got attention during Geeked Week.

For Akane, I would watch the anime but not read the manga: too many dialogues, I JUST CAN'T. Sorry.
Yes, it needs an anime because there are a lot of people like me.
Really? I can get through reading it with no problems. And I hardly notice it had dialogue problems.
